I love night hair masques. I just recently discovered their existence.  When I tried one, I realized how tremendously important it is to incorporate a night masque as part of my routine hair care regime.  If I am planning to wash my hair in the morning, then 20-30 minutes before I go to bed, I apply Lee Stafford Poker Straight Sleepover Overnight Treatment Mask, Intensive Mask for night use, with nutrition, regeneration and repair functions for damaged hair. In particular, it works great for hair that is constantly being straightened with an iron.  Restoring proteins recognize vulnerabilities in the hair structure and restore it. The mask works while you sleep.  It dries in minutes and leaves no spots on your pillow.  Keratin Amino Acids restore the optimum moisture balance of your hair.  Panthenol helps to obtain hair shine.  Restoring proteins retain smooth and strong hair structure, while refreshing and improving the overall look of your hair making it manageable .

My opinion: This was my first “Night Masque” experience ever.  And I should tell you with each application, my hair made me more and more happy. With every use, my hair became smoother, softer and more lustrous.  The consistency is fairly thick and it has a bit of a strong smell that remains in the hair until you wash it out.  Overall the results are amazing.  I can’t say this mask is very economical to use, but in general, by using it 3 times a week (long hair) this jar lasted for about two months.  Money well spent.

L'oreal Serie Expert Absolut Repair Thermo Repair Cream

The manufacturer promises instant results.  Hair recovers flexibility and is easy to manage. This effect continues even after the fifth wash.  AMIDOCELL technology:  Under heat, molecules penetrate into your hair and instantly restore hair structure.  The derivative of the starch is converted to a flexible film that covers the hair fiber.

My opinion:

Well, I have nothing to say against this product, BUT I love Kerastase Nectar more, if Kerastase is a bit too expensive for your budget, L’Oreal Thermo Repair will do the job almost as good as Kerastase will.  The results are similar to Kerastase, it moisturizes, softens and makes your hair more flexible.  Unfortunately for me, it’s not enough for my hair.  It has a pleasant scent and is very economical to use.

Intensive Scalp Revitalizer. J.F. Lazartigue

From the manufacturer: Water extract of vegetative "placenta" is suitable for normal, dry or irritated scalp, as well as for skin prone to the formation of dandruff.  This product contains the strongest regenerating ingredient, “plant placenta” (50%), which strengthens the scalp, stimulates hair growth, and gives strength and nourishment to the roots. Results: Stops hair loss strengthens the roots and improves hair texture. Hair becomes stronger, recovering its volume. Active ingredients: Vegetable "placenta" (extract from soybeans), 50%.

My opinion:  This serum was the solution to stop my hair loss during times of stress.  I was using it for about 1 year, twice every week for the first 6 months, and then reduced it to once a week for another half year.  Every box contains 10 ampoules.  I would apply serum on the roots of my dry or wet hair (same effect as a result of procedure) and gently massage it in.  I didn’t really noticed any extra effects on the hair growth part , but I can assure you, that my hair loss process had stopped, roots became stronger and overall hair structure became more improved.  I finally got my hair volume back!

J.F. Lazartigue Moisturizing Shampoo

My opinion: I think that this shampoo is perfect for everyday use. It moisturizes my hair making it soft with a pleasant smell.

Deep Action Treatment with Carrot Oil. J.F. Lazartigue

From the manufacturer: For dry hair. This product is for the deep treatment of overly thick fragile hair. The cream penetrates deep into the cortical layer of the hair, restoring weakened or dried hair. Carrot oil is rich in vitamins and carotene that are effective in preventing dryness of hair.

My opinion:  I’ve been using this oil for a very long time and I am completely happy with it.  Usually, before washing my hair, I would spread oil evenly on the entire length with specific attention to the ends and leave it in as long as possible (recommended time is 30 minutes).  If I didn’t need to go anywhere I would leave the oil in all day long and then wash it off.  As a reward for leaving it in my hair for that long, I would get shiny, full of life, gorgeous hair.  There is one thing I am curious about though, will this bright orange colored oil mess up blond colored hair?

My opinion: This new masque is designed to restore hair that was subjected to thermal aggression.  Well, mine did. After using almost three bottles of the product, my hair got back its life and started to look fabulous again.  With three months of intense mask treatments, my hair now becomes very dirty quick.  I’m thinking it’s time to take a break from the use of this product.
